Six hours. Prompting, verification, what AI gets wrong, and the privacy rules that apply at work.
What you will be able to do
- Write a prompt that gets a usable result the first or second time
- Verify an AI output before you rely on it, and know what it is likely to get wrong
- Recognise what must never be pasted into a general AI tool
- Apply your own workplace AI policy, or spot that you do not have one
- Decide when AI is the wrong tool for the task
Who it is for
Anyone who uses a computer at work and has been told to "use AI" without being told how. No technical background assumed.

How you prove it
Every course finishes the same way. You demonstrate the skill unaided on a real task, you explain the judgement behind it to another participant, and then 30 days later you complete a short check on a task you have not seen. It takes about fifteen minutes and it is the only thing that lets us say you can actually do this.
Your credential
A CAQA Academy Capability Badge, stating exactly what you demonstrated and when, with the 30-day check result on it.
Questions
Do I need to buy a subscription?
No. We work with free tiers during the course and tell you honestly where a paid tier is and is not worth it.
Is this hands-on?
Yes. You complete three of your own real work tasks during the course, and the assessment is one of them done unaided.
Will it be out of date in six months?
Parts of it. We teach judgement, verification and privacy, which change slowly, and we refresh the tool-specific material quarterly.
