Casual employment, not contracting Paid certification
Associate Tutor$46 to $52 an hour. Undergraduate with a strong subject record. Group work only, supervised. Never one-to-one.
Tutor$54 to $62 an hour. Graduate or experienced tutor who has completed our certification.
Senior Tutor$65 to $78 an hour. VIT-registered teacher or subject specialist. Senior and VCE work.
Senior Tutor, Specialist$78 to $92 an hour. A named subject specialism and a track record in it.
Academic Coach$85 to $110 an hour. Masters or PhD qualified, for university and doctoral learners.
Overseas tutorsAUD $18 to $28 an hour, paid at the top of that band, with a named Australian supervisor.
You are an employee, not a contractor. Australian tutors are engaged as casual employees with superannuation and workers compensation. It costs us more and it is the right way to do it.
We back you on the Red Lines. If a parent pressures you to complete their child's homework and you refuse, and they leave, that is our loss and not your problem. No tutor is ever penalised for it.
Before you teach: a current Working with Children Check, a National Police Check, checked references and the first two certification modules, passed. No exceptions, including for our own former students.
