Enrolment terms, refunds and cancellations

The agreement

• No lock-in contract. Two weeks' notice to stop, in writing, by any means.
• Group memberships are billed by direct debit every four weeks in advance.
• Duo and Personal sessions are prepaid in packs of up to 20, or billed weekly.
• Pause, do not cancel, over school holidays. Pausing is free and keeps your slot.
• We may end the arrangement if a learner is unsafe to others, or if you ask us to cross one of our Red Lines. We will refund the unused balance.

Refunds

• Before the first session: full refund, no questions.
• After commencement: pro-rata refund of the unused portion.
• Unused prepaid sessions: refunded within 14 days of your request. No expiry within 12 months.
• If we cancel a session and cannot reschedule within two weeks, it is refunded or credited at your choice.
• Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Missed sessions

Give us 12 hours' notice and the session is rescheduled or credited. Less than that and the session is used, because the tutor has been paid to be there. We use judgement for illness and genuine emergencies, and we will not argue with you about a sick child.

Changing format

You can move between Group, Duo and Personal at any time, from the next billing cycle. If your learner no longer needs us we will tell you so, and we would rather graduate them than keep billing you.
