Our operating rules

No unobserved contactEvery session is on our monitored platform. One-to-one sessions with a child are recorded.
No private channelsNo personal phone numbers, email, messaging apps or social media. All contact through the platform.
No personal contact detailsTutors do not exchange them with learners or families, in either direction.
WWCC for every workerVerified before first contact and re-verified annually, plus a National Police Check.
Overseas screeningPolice clearance from every country lived in for 12 months or more in the last decade, voice-checked references, annual re-screening.
Children are heardLearners are told who to tell and how, and our complaints process is written in a version children can use.
Reportable Conduct. Allegations against a worker are notified to the Commission for Children and Young People under the Victorian Reportable Conduct Scheme. Our Child Safety Officer is Australian-based and accountable for overseas workers as well.
Child safety is the first item on every board agenda, ahead of finance, at every meeting, without exception.
