What it covers
- Working scientifically: variables, fair tests, reliability and validity
- Scientific vocabulary, taught explicitly as its own descriptor
- Biology foundations: cells, body systems, ecosystems, genetics
- Chemistry foundations: particle theory, reactions, stoichiometry readiness
- Physics foundations: forces, energy, electricity, motion
- Reading and interpreting graphs, tables and scientific texts
Who it is for
Learners in Years 7 to 10 building the foundations, and senior students in Biology, Chemistry or Physics who are strong on recall and weak on application.
How it runs
Weekly, online, same tutor. Senior science is taught by Senior Tutors or Specialists against the relevant study design.

- Explain the role of forces in everyday situations
- Use cell theory to explain the functioning of organisms

From $75 per session, GST inclusive. No lock-in contract, two weeks' notice, pause any time. Second subject 20% off and siblings 15% off on group memberships.
Questions
Do you teach VCE Chemistry and Physics?
Yes, through Personal Specialist tutoring with a named subject specialist, or in Senior Mastery groups where numbers allow.
My child can recall everything but still loses marks. Why?
Recall is not application. Our transfer stage puts the concept in an unfamiliar context, which is exactly what examiners do.
Can you help with the practical investigation?
We teach investigation design on our own scenarios. We do not touch a live assessed investigation, including the data or the analysis.
